Introducing Shoppix: an easy-to-use, secure log-in, gamified mobile receipts scanner, with in-built rewards and notifications. In essence, it rewards registered shoppers for scanning receipts and answering ‘in-the-moment’ surveys. Users are further incentivised through a redeemable points programme.
We took a UX-led approach, marrying interactive interfaces with a gamified experience, so Shoppix would be fun and worthwhile. We also created the app with powerful image processing capabilities, so Android and iOS smartphones can capture receipts of varying size and quality. Backend services, like user authentication and image storage, were also built in. This ensures each, new uploaded receipt image instantly updates Kantar’s overall, and ongoing, picture of their panels’ behaviour.
With thousands of shoppers using Shoppix app every week, Kantar Worldpanel has a premium, real-time proposition that grows their income. It also brings in new clients from different sectors, whilst enriching their all-important, and business-critical, shopper data.
